In the land of Ariafrost there are many people that walk the earth, you can decide witch path you want to follow, but be warned each race has different abilities and weaknesses...
The Notorian race is the oldest living race left in existence they live in the lush lands to the south, and are arguably the most intelligent of all the races. They are horse traders and cattle drivers. They spend all year raising the fastest and the strongest beasts in all the lands. They live off the cattle that they raise along with the horses and are modest and noble to the point of insanity. Having a strong sense of honor they are ruled by a leader who has shown great skill in riding and hunting, all the tribes that live in their land known as 'Noterina' swear fealty to the leader who they call 'Chief' They spend most of their life on horseback so even children as young as five can ride better than most adults of other races. In this race the women are equal to the men in every way, in fact a lot of the time the chief is chief only in name, the women is the real leader and the one that they often turn to in times of great peril.
Every child once they have turned five 'bond' with a creature that is their symbol, it can be anything, from an eagle to a bear. None know what it will be but the child gets a vision from the gods, and a creature appears to them, to be bound to her/him forever. This bond can never be broken, save by death. Mythical creatures are allowed to be bonded to humans but bare in mind that this is rare and only gifted children can bond with one, please PM me before creating a charrie that can bond with a mythical creature or having a child that can bond with a mythical creature.
Bonding is a gift that the other races resent the Notorians for, the bond allows the animal and the human to interact with each other using their minds, if one of the two dies, so does the other, the easiest way to kill the animal is to kill the human, or visa versa.
The Eslanti are the ruling power in Ariafrost at this time, they hold numbers of warriors beyond the understanding of the other races. Their ruler the ‘Overlord’ has commanded that every man above sixteen must join the military and fight in the army for at least two years, many end up staying a lot longer. He rules his kingdom with an iron fist, intent on squashing all rebellion and ruling the other free kingdoms. Eslantians are brave and strong, but mostly not very intelligent; fighting is what they are born to do, despite this they are the most civilized of the races, over 60% of their population live in the capital city where the Overlords rule is most evident. Their kingdom known as “Eslantia" The people here are skilled in the command of elemental magic and can command it as they will. The kingdom is ruled by the nobles and aristocrats, all that have served time in the army, the only way that you can come into power is either being born into it or joining the army, sure suicide.
A child born to two Eslantians will only inherit one of the parents powers, for example, if the mother was water, and the father was fire, as fire is the dominant gene the child would command fire, see the ‘Magic’ section for more details on the elemental magic and how they work.
The Astorians are a secretive people that live deep in the forests and marches not coming into contact with any, they are mysterious and are rarely seen outside their homeland, they are protectors of the forest and nature, capable of seeing into the future and other talents, long have they been in danger of the Eslantians that come into their kingdom seeking the knowledge that they protect. With a string sense of what is right and what is decidedly wrong, they command the respect of all the races, but also the fear, the fear that they install in others and the fear that others install in them. Shy and wary they are often good hunters and in their kingdom those that choose hunting and healing over fighting rise in the ranks. Their leader is known as the Marquis or Magnate. The powers that Astorians in the land of ‘Astoria’ have depend on the month they are born.
In the welcome table at the top of the forum it shows what month it is this changes every two weeks, it is said that a Astorian born under the full moon will be the greatest leader of all, the command of the people living in Astoria isn’t passed down through the direct bloodline, it is passed down to the most worthy candidate at that time.
The Vevastians are nearly equal in power and status to the Eslantians but with one subtle difference, they command the love of their people, not enforcing rule and order on their lands, under the command of their king and queen they live peaceful lives, with a small standing army, and little defenses, they would be easy to beat. But Vevastians have a love of everything in the world and hatred for those that defile it, it is rumored that they can change their bodies into a shape of an animal, be it animal or something darker… Generally they are pleasant people, but you get the odd enthusiast that seeks to gain power by overthrowing the ‘weak’ king and queen, unfortunately, many people are inclined to agree with them.

These people have no magical powers as such but have certain unique abilities that the other races do not. These people, can be half/half. E.g Half Notorian, half Elf. Certain races here will be available at different times, one month you might be able to create an elf, the next you might not.
Elves
NOT available for playing at this time, elves are creatures of great power and great mystery, they wield the blade with unnatural strength and are said to carry the lives of a dozen men in their quivers, referring to their unsurpassable talent as marksmen. No one if quite sure when these beings came to Ariafrost, they only know that when they did, they came silently, they are rarely to be found in the big cities and are most commonly found amongst the Notorians, they seem to share a certain kinship with them. They are stronger and more agile than the average human but are not nearly as powerful in magic using; there magic abilities rarely exceed a level 1. If they are ever bonded with a creature, the bond is not as strong as it would be if they had been human and if one dies the other will remain living.
Elves have pointed ears and sleek, cat like forms, they are fluid in both movement and speech and rarely lie. They are referred to as the 'fair folk' most likely because they are pale skinned and have blonde hair, that is rarely cut short by the men. They have keen eyesight and can see well even in the dark. There have been occasions when a dark haired child has been born to the elves, generally when the baby is half human. As far as eye colour goes, it can vary, from green to blue to brown to yellow?
Druids
A Druid is a magically enhanced human that long ago decided to live apart from humanity, they are gifted as Astorians, and at any magic ability, however they are naturally incapable of wielding a sword or a bow, violence is not something that they hold onto with any great fervor. They have an inborn hatred of all elves however, the elves and them are completely opposite in every way, where the elves are fair and fluid, they are not. They have very dark brown skin and deep brown eyes, they are not as fluid as the elves but have an inborn grace and a greater sense of right and wrong. They are naturally uneasy around humans; they find there powers are greatly amplified under the full moon.
Equestria
NOT available for playing at this time. A intelligent race that hale from the northern provence of a long forgotten land, beings so connected to the sea that they are barely human anymore, though they are humanlike in shape, thier bodies are covered in silvery scales, they have unnatural swimming abilities, can breathe underwater and have a minor ability of manipulation over ice/water. They have been known to live with humans but for the most part they avoid contact with them, they are often treated with distain and are greeted with blank stares where ever they go. They don't have much modesty, for the most part they don't wear many clothes and even the most human like of them are amused with the fascination humans and other life forms have with covering thier body, though they do so if they want to live with humans trying to lead a half normal life. As one might expect they have scales covering thier flesh, thier eyes change with the colours of the sea, from pale blue to the depest azure.
